A rating should tell the truth about the service behind it.

Being True to Vets helps Veterans and their families understand the VA disability system, so the record reflects what really happened and what it costs them today.

Our purpose

To make sure every Veteran's rating tells the truth about their service.
Our purpose

Many Veterans have been told "no" before, or were given a rating that never seemed to match the conditions they live with. Others have never filed because the process looked like a wall of forms and acronyms.

We work for the Veteran, not the volume. That means explaining the process in plain language, being honest about what we can and can't control, and treating every person who calls us with respect.

Being True to Vets was founded by Retired Sergeant First Class Jimmie Lawson, a U.S. Army Infantry Veteran. Meet our founder.

Serve Support Honor

Veterans deserve straight answers.

Our standards come from the dog tags on our badge. Every conversation should be traceable to at least one of them.
